Below are the scheduled field trips for the fourth grade class for the 2010-2011 school year. All the field trips are connected with their history curriculum.

October: Santa Fe Train Depot, San Bernardino Heritage House, and two or three local cemeteries to visit the local graves of the Earp family (as in Wyatt Earp of the the shootout at the OK Corral)

November: San Manuel Indian Reservation

December: Mission Inn, Riverside

January: San Bernardino Mountain History

February: Palm Springs, including a ride on the tramway.

March: Los Angeles Chinatown, Olvera Street, via metrolink trains and metro subway

April: Calico Ghost Town

May: Overnight trip to San Diego (Cabrillo National Monument, San Diego Mission, Old Town San Diego, U.S.S. Midway, and the San Diego Maritime Museum)

A very important little note: All overnight fourth, fifth, and sixth grade field trips are paid for through fund-raisers.
